Sunday Sweep: Clowns Clean House
Clowns take 18+
game from Reds and 28+ game from Angels
Osborne - The Clowns and Reds met in an 18+ matchup that
ended in a 2-1 win by the Clowns. A much needed win, the
victory places the Clowns into 4th place and at .500 for the first
time this season.
Shamrock - In the 4:00 28+ game the Clowns caried the
emotion of a strong win against the 18+ Reds and administered an
assault on the Angels, crushing the first place Angels 18-9.
Undefeated so far this season, the 28+ Clowns are in first place
in the West.
Off this week for Father's Day, the Clowns will rest and return on
June 24th to try to continue the winning trend.
Sunday Split: 18+ Clowns Clober Cherokees, 28+ Mediocre
Match for Mets
Clowns take 18+
game from Cherokees
Shamrock - The 18+ Clowns took game one Sunday against an
embattled Cherokees crew. The final was 15-7 and landed the squad
into 3rd place in the National North Division.
The first time the 18+ team has been over .500 this season,
the Clowns hope to continue the winning trend in the younger
division.
28+ lose last
inning debacle to Mets
Shamrock - The 4:00 match up brought a tough opponent in
the Mets. The 2nd place team in the 28+ West division, the Mets
have added some new bats and displayed the added punch by
delivering a late blow, and loss to an undefeated Clowns team.
After nine innings, however, mediocre pitching and
fielding miscues led the Clowns to their first loss of the season.
The 28+ squad will look to regain form the next time they take the
field.
